The beans were not overly oily as some espresso beans are. The ground coffee came cleanly out of the grinder. I set the grinder halfway between medium and fine and put it through an espresso machine. What a great cup!! I took a little sip before adding cream and it is not as bitter as some. The finish is incredible. The coffee retained it's flavor as it cooled and didn't get acidic (one of my favorite tests). True espresso beans are getting hard to find and almost non-existent in many of the stores I frequent, big difference between French Roast and Espresso for me. The aroma was incredible. The beans were not overly oily as some espresso beans are. The ground coffee came cleanly out of the grinder. I set the grinder halfway between medium and fine and put it through an espresso machine. What a great cup!! I took a little sip before adding cream and it is not as bitter as some. The finish is incredible. The coffee retained it's flavor as it cooled and didn't get acidic (one of my favorite tests).
