Machika Valencian Polished Steel Paella Pan is a skillet made with high-quality thin carbon steel with a polished finish. Designed with built-in handles to ease transportation and handling. Has dimples on its surface for even cooking. Due to its material, needs extra care and maintenance. Be sure to dry your carbon steel pan very well after washing. Avoid air drying. After that, seal the surface with a bit amount of vegetable oil. This pan is not suitable for use in dishwashers, induction stove-tops, or ovens.

It was exactly as expected. First time we used it we made a delicious paella. It’s perfect for what it is. It is carbon steel (not stainless) so you need to oil it after using it; otherwise it will get some surface rust. If it does, just use a steel scrubbing pad to remove the rust, dry it and oil it.

I’ve been using this paella pans in my restaurant for almost a year and they are absolutely perfect fir serving paella for one person. We wash it everyday for almost a year and maintain the same quality. The only downside is the plastic handle covers my workers burned all of them.
