**Q: Would this work well on hilly terrain or for hiking?**
A: I love my Firefly! It's fast, lightweight and compact for transport, very maneuverable,  easy to mount, and has a good range. But I weigh 225lbs and it struggles with steeper hills.  Zig-zaging on some grades is necessary. A lighter person should have less trouble. It does fairly well on level off-roads limited by traction and the wheelchair's narrow tires. I use it with confidence on level bike paths, well packed hiking trails and unpaved roads but the lack of suspension on the wheelchair makes for a fairly rough ride when the road gets bumpy. Traction can be improved by adding weight to the front wheel. Rio Mobility offers a front-mounted basket that,when loaded, helps. I also own a power wheelchair that does better on paved hills but is limited for off-road use by its heavy weight (300lbs) and issues climbing steeper hills. There are many, heavy and bulky and very expensive power off-road chairs. Off-road manual chairs are more reasonably priced but are limited to your strength.

**Q: Is it manageable in a bathroom stall?**
A: Not in my opinion...   Unless it is a super huge bathroom!!  But is easily removable if needed.  that is what makes it a really good design!

A: Yes, the company is in the USA RIo is from California, the bikes are made in Taiwan.

**Q: does it fold down so you can travel with on a plane**
A: we have traveled with our firefly on planes many times. we wrap it up with tape to protect the moving arms. and we wrap the wheel with bubble wrap when we get to the gate.
