Easiest way to tell is to look at the photos. If three motor wires are on OPPOSITE end from the long shaft (like this Flash Hobby D3548) it cannot be reversed. If the three motor wires are on the SAME end as the long shaft they can be reversed. (Like the Surpass or Hobbyhh.) Typically they come with an adapter that mounts on the end of the motor and has the appropriate size shaft for your prop. **Q: What ESCs are compatible with this motor?** A: Depending on what battery and current drain minimum 30 amp brushless.
