Review: Great quality watercolors that retain their their intensity. - My granddaughter is artistric (e.g., she makes all of her own cards) and loves these watercolors, so she was thrilled to receive these! Because the price is a bit higher than her budget allows her to get on a regular basis, she was delighted that I included a set in her birthday present. One feature is that the color remains the same, requiring no addition of water; and the tubes close well, to remain constant.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can the watercolors be used to dye eggs?**
A: You got my curiosity up.....so, I just applied a few drops of the undiluted red and green to some eggshells.  I only let them sit for a few seconds and then wiped them off and sure enough, the color stuck....longer soaking would result in deeper colors, I'm sure.

**Q: Used today at a 1 part to 3 parts water dilution. The colors seemed extremely pastel. What dilution did you use for more vibrant colors?**
A: I use about 1 to 1 ratio or full strength. The more water you add to watercolors the less vibrant the colors will be.

**Q: Are these non-toxic?**
A: Ready-to-use non-toxic liquid watercolor.That's what it says in the description.

**Q: Have you used liquid water color to fill the do a dot markers? Should they be watered down?**
A: I have never tried that. These colors are VERY intense.

The price point for the size of these is great! The colors are vibrant and a little goes a long way. I use them to dye rice/pasta and also to add to spray bottles and mixing water for my students. I have experienced them staining a bit, so I will also add a squirt of dish soap and no more staining. I haven't experienced any leaking, but I do make sure to store them upright. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of value of these paints. I am a repeat buyer and would definitely recommend them!
