why is this soooo expensive? The herbs used aren't expensive ones.

That is a great question as most people don’t understand what it actually costs to produce a product unless they run a business themselves, or know someone else who does.

•	There are many costs associated with putting Super ViraGon together. Most are not obvious. Here are just a handful of them:
•	Manufacturing costs money. Labor costs for manufacturing has to be factored into each bottle.
•	Costs for cGMP compliance get factored into each bottle. 
•	Testing on ingredients is done before a product can be blended. That cost money. 
•	Microbial testing and heavy metal testing has to be factored into each bottle.
•	Legal fees for keeping a compliance legal team has to get factored into each bottle.
•	Organic and wildcrafted herbs costs more than conventional.
•	There are more herbs than you think in a bottle of Super Viragon since most of the herbs used don’t produce a lot of juice when pressed. 
•	Bottle and label costs have to be factored into each bottle. 
•	Labor costs for the customer support team gets factored into each bottle. Phone costs have to be factored in.
•	Full time IT personnel has to be factored in.
•	Computer equipment has to be factored into each bottle.
•	The fulfillment facility and personnel costs have to be factored in.
•	Shipping may be free for you, but it still must be paid for, and that gets factored into each bottle.
•	The accounting department has to get factored in.
•	And there’s also shipping from manufacturing to our fulfillment facility which needs to be accounted for.
•	Amazon receives a percentage on every bottle sold on their website as the cost for selling products on their site.
•	And on and on…
•	And, out of what’s left, a small margin of profit is eked out of each bottle.

The bottom line is that if we chose to manufacture outside of the country using cheap labor in non-compliant facilities and didn’t follow the legally mandated health and safety requirements associated with cGMP compliance (many companies don’t), we could sell Super ViraGon for a lower price. However, it has always been our mission to produce the products that Jon Barron formulated without compromise. If cost is your main criterion for choosing products, then you can find cheaper versions elsewhere. Keep in mind they may not work as well. But if you believe that no compromise is acceptable when it comes to your health and nutrition and the health and nutrition of those you love, then Baseline Nutritionals is the company you’re looking for.

Why does it have to be used so often in a day? The taste is absolutely terrible and I can barely stomach it even in spicy tomato juice

If I catch a cold right at the beginning one dose usually stops it. I put it in a mix of water and tomato sauce. Tastes like v8.
