Only down side is the winders are very close to the side , so not very easy to turn . But hey , I still love it . I've just put in two AA batteries , not included , and tried the alarm function . Definitely a wake you up alarm . The alarm on off switch is on the back . Can't comment yet if it's luminous in the dark , but it does have a push button on top , which lights up the face , brilliant idea . When you release the button the light goes off . It also comes with a card in the box to register it for extended warranty . Five years instead of one year , so worth doing .
