We're very happy with it. It's relatively thin as you could imagine in a bed that rolls up, but does provide a small amount of cushion to make a floor or the ground a little more comfortable for your dog.It seems like a very well constructed product with well thought out features. The bottom surface is rubbery, providing friction so it doesn't slide when your dog goes to get on it and seems like it would resist ground moisture nicely as well (though we haven't had the chance yet to put that to the test). It rolls up nicely and has velcro straps built in to make it easy to bundle up, and an integrated handle for carrying - the handle even seems sturdy. It also has a spot on the rubbery bottom to write your dog's name on it with a marker. No idea how well that would hold a permanent marker as we haven't written our dog's name on it as we don't know anyone who has one to mix it up with ours.Our dog is a pretty big boy, an 85 lb. lab mix and he doesn't have any problem fitting on it. It's actually pretty big when unrolled. It's nice to have somewhere for him to sleep that reminds him of home when he goes on an adventure with us. We've only used it indoors so far, but I think it would probably be a great product to bring with you when camping with your dog. It doesn't seem to weigh very much, and I imagine you could roll it up in your own sleeping bag when packing to carry with you on the trail.At home our dog has a more robust bed in our bedroom to do most of his sleeping on, but we also leave this one out for him when he's hanging out with us in the livingroom so it will smell like home for him on the road. We wouldn't want to bring his normal memory foam bed with us, but this is just perfect to travel with.We're happy with it and planning to buy one as a gift for a family member's pup soon too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Bed for Travel *by K***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2017* I purchased this as a travel bed for my dog and it fits the bill perfectly. He has a thick memory foam bed for at home but needed something of his own to rest on while traveling. The bed is around 1" thick, polyester filled with a microfiber top surface and waterproof underside. The velcro straps and carry handle makes it easy to roll up into a 7" x 14" roll that weighs around 1 lb. It attaches easily to a backpack without adding any appreciable weight at all. I debated between the medium and large size for my 65 lb. lab mix, but the medium is fine. It gives him a place curl up and rest and is small enough to be placed anywhere without being "too much".
