**Q: How do the bees pollinate them**
A: I don't cover my blueberry bushes with these until after the berries are growing (no more flowers on the plant).

**Q: can it protect from squirrels?**
A: I would imagine yes. It protects from bunnies, birds, and insect pests. The mesh is too small for them to get through - but you have to be sure to tie it tightly around the base of the plant or they could get in from the bottom and then get stuck.

**Q: Is this long enough to where i can secure it to my plants pot? I want to keep cats from digging?**
A: It depends on the height of the plants and the size of the pots. The bags are over 4 feet high.

**Q: Are the holes less than 1/4 inch?  I would like to use these to protect against cicadas.**
A: Yes, less than 1/4".
It's a very fine mesh material. It has held up very well through a very harsh heavy snow/winter.
I am using it to deter deer from eating small saplings.

Although it starts to ride up a bit with the wind, it fits nicely over a blueberry bush to keep birds away. Doesn't feel like it will rip easily, seems sturdy. The draw string is waxy, so tends to loosen over time. It would be nice to have a spring clamp on the drawstring like others have. I wish there was also a draw string at the top for easier access. I have a sleeve for the small bush with drawstrings at both sides with a plastic clamp to keep it closed. However, they don't make those sleeves this big.
