It still mixes well and I have not had anything on the bottom of the bowl that wasn't mixed in. I have used it quite bit too. **Q: Where can I get a replacement bowl?** A: I posted the same question after purchasing product. But, per HB customer service a replacement bowl is not available for this model. The mixer is really nice, but disappointed to learn that a replacement bowl is not available. Now, I’m considering returning. **Q: Is the mixing bowl too big for a 1 loaf bread recipe- (3 cups of flour)?** A: It works just fine! **Q: This was just delivered today! The bowl lock doesn't seem very secure--you barely touch it and it unlocks. Is this normal, or is mine defective?** A: It may be defective. Mine is very tight when it is locked. I've had a few, including one's that are significantly greater in price but I have to say this one has been the most durable and best functioning overall. Despite it's lower price it has all the same amenities as a pricier stand up mixer and I compared to others it is more powerful. It does not heat up quickly like some I've had before and I'm able to use attachments on it such as pasta noodle attachment and vegetable spiralizers on it that are made for more expensive stand up mixers. I'd recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a very reasonably priced stand up mixer.
