I filled it up with ice cubes and put some tea in it. I used the same ice for 27 hours before there was just a small amount left that I dumped out before going to bed the second night. I refilled with tea four times during this time. I'm happy with it's cold performance but have not tried it with anything hot yet. I found their website online and emailed them to inquire about buying an extra lid in case I lose or damage this one but no one has responded in several days so I'm not impressed with their customer service and would probably not buy another one because of this. There are too many other Yeti knock offs on the market right now to buy from someone who doesn't respond to their emails and customer service is important to me. There is no phone number to call so email is the only contact information. I wanted to add some quick weight comparisons to the 20 oz Yeti Rambler that I just received. The Eskimo Tumbler is slightly heavier than the Yeti. The Eskimo Tumbler without the lid weighed 10.9 ounces vs the 10.7 of the Yeti. The Eskimo lid weighed 1.8 ounces vs the 1.6 of the Yeti. Total weight, Eskimo 12.7 ounces vs 12.3 for the Yeti. The middle section of the Eskimo lid looks thicker than the same area on the Yeti lid which may account for the weight difference between lids. The Eskimo lid also fits tighter in both Tumblers compared to the Yeti lid in both tumblers. I hope Eskimo will eventually offer replacement lids for their tumblers as I think their lid is a little better than Yeti's. I weighed everything on a Royal postal scale. I did purchase my Yeti Tumbler off of Yeti's website for $29.99 + shipping and taxes for $35.80 total. This is cheaper than the Eskimo version which is on sale for $39.99 on their website unless you buy two Eskimo Tumblers for $20 off two products for your first purchase on their site. Review: Performs like a normal tumber but performance is not as advertised - I bought this hoping for a cheaper "yeti". When I first recieved it, I filled it up with room temperature water and threw in 5 ice cubes. 3 hours later, the ice melted about 30%. Sure, you could argue that I started with room temp water but at that rate I doubt it would hold up to the "GUARANTEED TO KEEP ICE FROZEN FOR UP TO 72 HOURS" as advertised. I mainly wanted to use this at the office to keep my tea hot. It will stay pretty hot in the first hour. After 3 hours my tea remained comfortably warm. Overall it seems to work like a regular tumbler. So far, I have only tried the Eskimo but I have to say I love it. Just after midnight, I placed some crushed ice and a few ice cubes plus sugar free lemonade in the cooler and put on the lid. At 7 a.m., there was still enough ice to keep the drink really cold. I'm impressed! In addition to the lid that comes with the cooler, there should be one with a slide that covers the drinking hole. I have only tried the DRENCH for hot coffee and I gave that one four stars because the hot coffee was just warm after seven hours. I've not yet used the Iceberg.
