Geo. series the bright pictures and easy to read text make the book engaging for the boys. They find it fun to read the facts and constantly be like "did ya know?" Or test each other on knowledge to see if the other has read that part of the book. I know mythology can be a bit dark for kids but this book does a good job at not touching the dark parts while still being informative. This book is mostly for kids 5-8ish. The 10 y/o thought the book was boring, but the two boys age 6 and 8 loved it. Definitely for kids who are into more non-fiction fact type books.
