**Q: Whats the thread lock is made out of and how to best remove it?**

Thank you for your inquiry. 

The thread lock used on our King Kong Magnetics 1200 lbs magnet fishing kit is a standard thread lock adhesive. To remove the thread lock and detach the magnet, we recommend soaking the area where the thread lock is applied in warm, soapy water. The water will help loosen the bond of the adhesive and allow you to unscrew the magnet. Be very careful when handling the magnet after removing the thread lock, as the magnet can be extremely strong.
