I absolutely love these ballasts, and have always gotten NextGen ballasts (I think they've always been made by CAP, too). I've gotten 6 of this exact model, and every single one of them works flawlessly right out of the box. The ignition time is fast, it has all the features you could really want or need in a digital ballast, and the cooling fans on it are very quiet. I really like that it has receptacles for any kind of reflector you could ever possibly buy. I don't like that it isn't really "dimmable", rather it has a switch to switch it from 400w to 600w. This still works perfectly for what I need it for, however. They've always been super reliable, and I'm planning on getting a few more in the coming year. Can't run MH bulbs on these, but who needs 'em anyways.
