Review: Well designed beginning kit for kids - This is a fantastic little kit. We bought it for my daughter (age 7) and she loves working on it. This isn't something she is able to do on her own yet, but as long as I'm there to help keep threads from getting tangled and pieces from getting misaligned, she's able to complete the projects and feels very accomplished and proud of herself when she's done. The projects are well designed and ordered from easiest to most difficult, and the colors and craft designs are perfect for her age group. It usually takes a few sittings to complete each one, because she doesn't have the stamina or attention span to finish one in a single try yet, but it's great to have a simple project with well ordered steps that she can work on a little at a time at her age. Highly recommend.

**Q: Is this easy enough that my daughter and I can learn together? I know nothing about sewing. I’d hate for a part to come up, expecting an adult to know**
A: Probably. I gave this to a granddaughter whose Mom knows nothing about sewing. She said her daughter loved the project.  I purchased another one for a granddaughter and I helped her complete the project. Pretty easy, just have to follow written instructions.

A: No. This is for sewing by hand.  My grand daughters did stay with the task.

This is a fantastic little kit. We bought it for my daughter (age 7) and she loves working on it. This isn't something she is able to do on her own yet, but as long as I'm there to help keep threads from getting tangled and pieces from getting misaligned, she's able to complete the projects and feels very accomplished and proud of herself when she's done. The projects are well designed and ordered from easiest to most difficult, and the colors and craft designs are perfect for her age group. This set is adorable. We have another brand and it’s not as cute. There are a lot of steps for some of the projects but the instructions are detailed with pictures. I will say it was difficult for my 5 and 7yr old. The 5yr old was very intimidated but the 7yr old can do it w help. Turned out pretty cute! They like to gift to their friends.
