Review: Great for trolling or jigging - It's a bit plasticky, you can tell it's made to a price point but it's not bad. This reel doesn't have any braking so it's really hard to cast without getting a birds nest. It really comes into its own when used for dropping a jig down to fish seen on a fishfinder. This is what I bought it for and I'm really happy with it. It took exactly 100m of 30lb Daiwa J braid. I measured 25m in my garden and experimented with the line settings and found the 10lb setting was the closest, measuring 24.6m
