**Q: Can this extender be connected to other tp link extenders?**
A: Yes

**Q: What is better about the newer model?**
A: Never had a prior model of this brand so I can't say but I get a good strong signal deep in the bowels of a large detached steel garage which I could not receive before

**Q: Does it work for a ring doorbell ?**
A: The RE230 is designed to provide extended WiFi connectivity for any device that supports 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz WiFi connectivity.

**Q: Can you disable the wifi repeater? My wifi is fine, I only want to use the ethernet port on this.**
A: Yes, once configured, you can disable the Wi-Fi broadcast of the repeated network and still use the Ethernet port for wired connectivity.
