**Q: What is the height of the lip?**
A: Actual height of lip is 0.75”

**Q: Your item states the j shelf brackets fit the regular 1x10 & 2x10 (actual 9.25) home depot board, i have a 9.75 board, would these work?**
A: It fits a standard 1x10" (9.25") board pretty well, you might be able to get away with 9.5" but I think 9.75" would be too much.  You could plane or sand them down to make it work.

**Q: What's the distance between the holes?**
A: 6 1/8" from hole center to hole center.

A: Of course

very nice brackets..very sturdy. Fits a 1x10 board perfect. Comes with everything you need and a.cool little level also. I loved them.so much I bought another pack and decided to add more shelves for my plants. It was easier to mount the shelf to the bracket then mount the whole shelf. Holds almost all my plants some are pretty heavy.
