We were most surprised when the first time it rained it actually filled with rain water. we did contact Igloo asking why it wasn't airtight. They told us that we had purchased the wrong coolbox, we should have purchased a marine coolbox (at over £300!) even though on the Igloo website it clearly states this coolbox is for outdoors / boating. The design to me appears defective as the lid doesn't seal but the customer service from Igloo has been appalling and we finally gave up and it is now just used as a seat! . I would not recommend this product if you want an effective coolbox. **Q: What do you fill it with loose ice or ice packs? Which is better thanks** A: You can use both. Ice is the most ideal but it's also more work. And this type of cooler requires a lot of ice. Depending on on the use of the cooler icepacks can better due ice melts and the products inside will become wet. If you have any more questions please let us know. **Q: Hi, is grey icebox the same size as the white one? The info is very confusing. pics suggest they are same size but text for grey says 120 & 7Q???** A: I think the grey one is for the American market the white one is the one to buy it’s very good and keeps items cold for a long period would recommend it. **Q: Hello, it says ‘quick access through hatch’ in description but I can’t see a hatch anywhere on the images** A: Hello, Thank you for your message.
