This one's even better as it has a rubber brush on the other side when you push the lever... Because I've owned one before I knew it presoak before use...it does state on package though ...but some possibly won't read it and not know it won't open when in a dry state... Lever is a tad stiff at first but well made...brush comes in handy for dog hair on carpet as it has rubber bristles... It's great as you can use plenty of water on the floor... Ring out and then use again over floor to soak up excessive water after...instead of using ringer in the bucket that often don't fit well...
