We do not have a joules measurement available as this is not how our wire is tested. **Q: Can anyone give me directions on how to use this to keep squirrels off a pole bird feeder?** A: You need to have a power source for the wire but also if you have it at lower levels you may shock someone or another animal you don't intend to shock. It's going to break if you pull it tight enough to hold up grapes.
