And for reasons I cannot fathom, it is sold by very few outlets in the UK and is always in short supply. I ended up having to get mine from a supplier in Germany. The total cost including postage was pretty much the same as buying from a UK supplier. The official guide rail is worth having because of its unique feature of having one edge for 45 degree cuts and the other for 90 degree cuts (the saw blade on this saw does NOT cut in exactly the same spot when moved from 90 to 45 degrees unlike some other similar saws). The guide rail also comes with two clamps to clamp the guide rail down to your workpiece. It's 2 metres in total length, conveniently divided into two 1 metre pieces and is very well made. A possible workaround is to use the Draper Tools guide rail for their equivalent saw (Einhell and Draper Tools equipment is near identical). However, this will not give you the 45 degree cuts feature. I hope this answer proves helpful. Regards Paul **Q: Is this saw compatible with any other brands of track? Thanks** A: I can confirm that the Einhell plunge saw is compatible with the Evolution guide rails (the saw has two guide slots in the base plate and the Evolution guide rail has one guide rib), the saw will be compatible with most guide rails that have one rib. However the Einhell guide rails have two guide ribs so are not compatible with most standard plunge saws that only have one guide slots in the base plate. Einhell UK said that it was not compatible, I was looking for a definite answer to this question, in the end I bought one and tried it and it does work. **Q: Has anyone got this to work with guide rails/tracks other than the Einhell one?
