While I have two additional larger sizes this one spends time in my everyday carry bag along with my Lieca Q - the pair have paid for themselves many times over. I taught my wife some basic lighting and she now takes this with her whenever she needs to shoot for her clients (iPhone and social media) and each time she pulls out the light someone wants to know where it came from. For food photography, where you don't want to make (too much of) a spectacle of yourself this light is great. Dialed to it's lowest setting it won't draw attention and allows you to give much needed direction and pop in poorly lit restaurants. The batteries will last for many hours and it's not uncommon for a medium sized battery to last for an entire week of travel. Again, it's used on low power as an accent very close to subject.
