Surco's 502L Universal fit straight ladder is adaptable to any manufactured RV/Motorhome with a vertical rear panel contour. Rack features traditional upper and lower mounts plus four stand-offs that can be placed wherever the installer desires for robust ladder support. Ladder features a 250 lb. weight capacity and is equipped with wide, non-slip steps designed for secure and easy access to your RV's roof - even in wet conditions. Built with 1-inch heavy-gauge aluminum tubing for exceptional strength and longevity and features a bright dip finish for a sleek, corrosion-resistant surface. Ladder features a 97" maximum length but can be installer shortened during installation at multiple points. Drilling and simple hand tools required for installation. Review: Great ladder - Was the perfect size for a small Class B (TransVan) it mounted very securely to the back of the unit. I give it 4/5 for sturdiness, because it came in pieces. It's not as rigid as a solid ladder, but it supports my 220 lbs, and looks great on my camper. Also, the top loops came off, which allowed me to adapt it to a rounded roof. I give it a 4/5 on easy to install because it was a little difficult to install. I had to find studs, mark them, level it, and then the roof was curved. I would say that I'm expert (30 year) auto and RV mechanic. It took me about 2.5 hours to install. Also, I provided my own stainless screws for mounting. Some were included, but I preferred the ones I bought.

**Q: can this be mounted on the side?**
A: I am sure you can mount anywhere you like but it does stick out about 6 inches

**Q: What is the weight capacity of the 502L ladder?**
A: The weight capacity of the 502L of approximately 250 lbs.

**Q: Do you have the installation guide? You shipped mine with no instructions or anything.**
A: I used mine as a replacement so no instructions were required. If it is a new installation you would have to contact the RV manufacturer on the placements of the standoffs and the proper screws for anchoring ladder to RV

**Q: Does this only mount top and bottom or is there a bracket somewhere in the center?**
A: Multiple brackets between top and bottom and a stanchion in the middle

Was the perfect size for a small Class B (TransVan) it mounted very securely to the back of the unit. I give it 4/5 for sturdiness, because it came in pieces. It's not as rigid as a solid ladder, but it supports my 220 lbs, and looks great on my camper. Also, the top loops came off, which allowed me to adapt it to a rounded roof.
