I’ve been wearing these around the house to get acclimated and they are extremely comfortable. I wanted to see how they would be on a trail. I just did a challenging 3.6 mile hike at Catawba Falls in North Carolina. The shoes did very well on the trail. Also, I needed to cross a creek and do some minor climbing and these were perfect. You can move your toes/feet to grip. The only downside is that if the trail has lots of rocks or gravel, you can feel them. They still provide cushion and support, but it may be uncomfortable if it’s a long stint of rocky terrain. For me, these are great and help with balance. They’re very lightweight and have a wide toe box. Not the most attractive shoe but who cares when you’re in need comfort and support.
