It is very soft and looks velvety. they are washable, sensibly priced and comfortable, light weight, and is sensible quality. They are pretty enough to use as a bed spread as well as a blanket, and if you need extra blankets on a chilly night this one would either be comfortable next to your skin or pretty enough to be on top.
