It is a dark roast coffee. Not sure how it will do in espresso machine. **Q: Is this a fine or medium ground coffee for use in an espresso machine?** A: Not sure on that one. I get the Traditional Roast and it is what I would call a slightly finer drip grind than other "drip grinds" of coffee. Hopefully someone who's used that one will answer. But there standard grind on their other coffees is a fine drip grand, not an espresso grind.
