My bf loves his, not too big or too small. He did say the bristles are quite firm and i think it does a great job. Initially there were a few loose bristles that came out, but that stopped after the first week or so, and I suspect that those had simply gotten caught up amid the packed bristles and were never actually inserted when the brush was first made, because I haven't observed any since then.As far as the use of it is concerned, the stiffness of the brush is at a nice medium and has no problem moving through and shaping my beard, yet without feeling hard or uncomfortable when it comes in contact with my skin. I like the size of it as well, since it's large enough for good coverage and small enough that I can maneuver it around my mustache with ease.
