Regular non stick rug pads do not work rug on rug. I should know as I've tried them all.I was worried the thickness of this pad would be too much and feel bulky, but I feel it actually works better than normal thin ones. I've had it under my area rug for a couple of weeks and it hasn't shifted at all. Not to mention it makes the rug very comfortable under my feet.It was very easy to cut also.
