He is very much into lego and when he opened it, he said it was like a giant lego space capsule. Easy enough to put together, but did find that it separated on occasion at the plastic slide joints that keeps the panels together. Also came with two characters, would be nice if they had some additional figures/accessories you could purchase to add to the adventure when they are being creative with their stories while playing with it.
