## Questions & Answers

**Q: Why choose Alinox 300?**
A: Alinox 300 is built for big baits and strong fish, with an aluminum frame, hardened brass gears, 8 stainless bearings, and up to 33lb drag for musky and inshore use.

**Q: Is it easy to cast?**
A: Yes, after proper setup. Start with higher magnetic brake and tighter spool tension, then loosen gradually as your thumb control improves to reduce backlash.

**Q: What fishing is it best for?**
A: It is best for casting big lures, swim baits, crankbaits, and heavier rigs for musky, pike, bass, and inshore species that need strong drag and torque.

**Q: Which ratio or handle fits me?**
A: Choose 6.6:1 for more control with big baits and 8.1:1 for faster pickup. Pick the power handle for torque or double handle for frequent casting.

**Q: How do I keep it smooth longer?**
A: After saltwater or dirty water use, rinse lightly, dry well, and oil as needed. Check the handle knob, drag star, and thumb bar before heavy trips.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ FANTASTIC smooth & powerful reel
*by M***. on 24 January 2021*

I'm a Baitcaster user from way back and had two when I bought the #300 being a larger capacity reel. Have got rid of both existing Baitcasters I had as the #300 Alijos is just so much better in every possible way. When adjusted correctly this reel will cast 40 plus meters and stop without feathering the line, and will NOT cause birds-nest either, the magnetic brake works just so much better than any other reel I've used. Can't recommend this reel highly enough. (have since bought the lower gear ratio reel for off shore fishing) Paul
