I am able to just let her go and not worry about it breaking or coming out of the ground. She loves being able to explore the yard. I recommended it to my dad for his dog. It has this screw on the hook so it doesnt come off the harness easily. You can move the ground piece easily without leaving holes in yard. We move it as we have 7 acres and like for the dog to be with us but without worrying about hwr getting hurt or caught up on stuff.
