Instead of buying new ones to replace, I've decided to find a Youtube video on patching up buffer jackets. Initially I thought this would be done with threads and needles. The first video I found was using this adhesive tape. Having the process demo'd in a video I found the process manageable and decided to give this product a try. The first hole I tried to patch took a few tries but as soon as you get one done properly, patching up other holes are a cinch. So, my advice is to watch the Stormsure's video first and see if that's something you want to do before buying this product.There are other adhesive tapes that you just stick on the outside of the puffer jacket as a cover. Those types you generally have to try to colour match. Personally I think that's not much better than putting a piece of gaffer tape on your jacket. For me, I prefer a more discrete repair, which this product gives.I have now done 5 patch jobs and each one have come out brilliantly. A couple of washes later the patches are still intact and discrete...
