Since then, I’ve tried to find it in the states but cannot, most sold in stores are very dry and tasteless, nothing like the real thing. I am blown away by how good this is, and also how well it is packed and prepared coming so far away. The package is in a box and inside the box is a plastic tray that is sealed. Even if the package is jostled, which it surely is coming across the ocean, the baklava stays perfectly in tact, each one is perfect. And my goodness, the taste and quality. It is so flakey, perfectly moist, and just delicious. I keep it in the freezer to try and limit myself from eating the whole thing in one sitting, I’ll take one out a few hours before I want to eat it and it’s just glorious.
