I tried to use it once and found that it didn't work for me as I thought it would. It's in perfect condition. I'd like to sell it soon. **Q: how long is the cord on the controller?** A: pretty standard was able to connect to the wall directly behind the chair.... I don't see an issue with using an extention cord if needed **Q: Is the item durable** A: We returned it soon after receiving. Tried to use it in a living room upholstered chair. Was unstable. Worried about tipping. Also had to pay hefty restocking fee to return.
