Also, the top leather part is mounted to the hinge part differently than the OEM, so that killed my idea of taking off the hinge part of this unit and putting my OEM leather part on it- they wouldn't line up. On the upside, it was about 1/10th the price of getting a new one from audi for my 10 year old car so I can live with the slightly lighter shade. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect fit for my 2004 A4 Cabriolet *by M***E on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on June 2, 2014* I had real concerns when the delivery time was estimated to be so long (over 30 days) but I got it much sooner than that! I ordered on May 19th, 2014. Estimated delivery was not until June 3rd through the 19th! Long wait! I got mine on May 19th. Glad I got it quicker!The color is a near perfect match for my leather seats and the original armrest. Anyone looking at the interior would not notice a color difference. The part was easy to install. Just carefully squeeze the two U-shaped arms together and they'll expand right into the holes in the lower armrest assembly. You'll want to remove the shroud like 3 plastic pieces at the rear of the armrest lower assembly and then replace them after you put the new cap on.The new cap works just like the old one. It is noticeably lighter In weight) than the OEM part as other reviewers have noted. That may actually help the longevity of the part when it is repeatedly raised and lowered.All in all I'm totally satisfied. OEM part was about $179 from a dealership.
