Both of my jars were well within date and arrived in tact. I thought it was amusing that the jar specifically said "Refrigerate after opening - use within 7 days". This product is decent. Even though it says jalapeno on the front, it is not spicy at all. Usually I'm the first one to say something's spicy out of my whole family and friends, and this is not at all spicy or having any kind of kick to it. There's almost no chunks to it. It's 95% smooth blend. The cheese flavor is there, but it's like it's been watered down and stomped on... Don't get me wrong, this is a decent cheese sauce dip, but it's nowhere near the great strong robust flavor you'd expect...
