I ordered one size larger and they fit very nicely, even with heavy socks on. The boots look like real leather and durable. I ordered theses boots to replace the one pair that I had for over 20 years. **Q: Is this men’s or women’s size?** A: Nieither. Child size. The calf is slim. **Q: what is the calf circumference of this boot?** A: Too small! You can't even get your foot into it! **Q: 1 Big Kids doesn't make sense. Our daughter wears Kid's size 4 or 4.5 which size should order?** A: You would order a size 4.5 in this boot as well.
