Isn't that what double-sided tape is for? Second, this is great tape for the platform in a 3D printer. I have tried hair spray, contact cement, various glue types, and other double-sided tapes. THIS IS THE BEST! I'll try it at school when engineering students have adhesion problems with their 3D "prints." I will buy it again. UPDATE: I just bought another roll. I have made half a dozen 3-D prints over a week and each came out perfectly attached to the print surface. Removal tip: As you put the tape in place, leave a piece of paper about 1/2-inch under a short edge. It gives you something to grip when you remove the tape. Pull the tape straight away (90-degrees from) the work surface. It comes off and doesn't leave a residue. It sticks to anything including the wood.Did I used it on. I was gluing a plastic aquarium background to the back of a piece of particle board. I used big pieces about 10 inches long. BAD IDEA. After I cleaned up the sticky mess with alcohol, it took off some of the aquarium backing, but that was my own fault for using big pieces. Use very small pieces and it works wonderful. But just be careful, it sticks to everything but it does not leave a sticky residue.
