However; we just dealt 5 cards per person and played like apples to apples with the person whose turn it was to turn over the name card not playing a card but shuffling the played cards from all other players and then choosing the card that shows the cat they felt matched the name the best. The player whose name was chosen kept the name card for that play and the next player turned over the next name card. We played the first player to amass 3 name cards won. Our 6 year old granddaughter loved it, and we played at least 5 times during the weekend we were with her including once while 8 of us were out to lunch. It’s great because even very young kids can play because reading is not required, and everyone has a pretty equal chance of winning. It would be nice if there were more cat photo cards, there are a few cats that appear multiple times in different poses, and there are a lot of tabby cats.
