Review: Great for renewing worn sticks, and protecting new ones - My Razer Wolverine V2 Chroma has long been my favourite Xbox controller, but after years of service the sticks were worn basically to nothing, and razer doesn't sell replacements. Thankfully these thumbgrips fit nicely on the Razer controller, making it feel like a brand new stick. While there's a nice variety of colours available, I've opted to keep the original all black look. I've used a second pair from the three provided on my official Series X controller to help protect that controller as well. The grip provided is very good, and improvement over the original sticks and the materials feel durable. They're comfortable for long gaming sessions. They look very premium on the controllers, and not cheap or tacky like some thumb grips do.
Review: Very good quality grips for XBOX controller. - I was contemplating a little bit on buying these because I felt the price is a little more than I was wanting to pay but after receiving them and seeing the quality they are definitely worth the price. Wasn't the easiest to apply but it's expected as once they are on they fit so snug they won't be coming off easily!! Looks better than the standard joystick and I should have bought them initially as they would protect the controller. Great grip and is comfortable. FYI If anyone has the purple Astral controller, I thought from the pictures the purple didn't match but in person it's almost an exact match. Love it.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are these meant to fit over top of the original thumb stick covers? I’m looking for a replacement cover, not something to go on top.**
A: Yes these are meant to go over the original thumb stick grips.

**Q: how tall are the longer extenders ?**
A: Not exactly sure how tall they are but I can’t play without them. I brought all the cheap ones on Amazon and they never were as good as these. Nothing on amazon are as good as these for any system. The grip, fit, height options are simply the best on Amazon. Never looked anywhere else. I have them for Xbox and switch.

**Q: Do these for a Nintendo switch?**
A: Sort of. No, these don't fit the Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons. However, yes, these "Xbox" thumb grips do fit the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

**Q: Can it fit still if my original silicone grips are gone?**
A: Mep gave you some poor advice as the answer isn't yes, it's more no to maybe.  First off, the original Playstation thumb-sticks are hard rubber and not silicone.
 If the original thumbstick is worn out or just the metal base material is left, then no this is not a replacement, as it will shift and spin. That being said, if you take a drop of Vibra-TITE VC-3, it can affix this after market grip to the worn out base and you can call it a day. VC-3 doesn't fully cure nor fully set, it holds well and can be removable.

I also use VC-3 to affix extended R2 and L2 trigger extenders. you can find single use packets of VC-3 for about a dollar. But if you buy the .5ml tube for $9 on Amazon, some Amazon sellers are charging $50 for a $6-$9 product, they are using Covid supply issues to price gauge

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They're grippy

Not a huge amount to say about these — they’re great if you’re conscious about wearing down the base grips on your Steam Deck, and they add a noticeable improvement in grip. The added colour is a nice bonus too, giving the Deck a bit more personality. My only issue was getting them onto the grips at first, but I found that fully inverting them and letting them flip back around the sticks worked really well. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them.
