Review: Very good product, bad reviews didn’t read the description - I feel like this product has been unfairly down rated because people didn’t bother to read the description or just generally have no idea what they’re talking about. Yes, you have to solder it together, that should be obvious if you looked at the pics or read the description. The “special tool” needed to insert/remove the wire is just a small screwdriver. These are not “screw terminals”, they are better. Screws can loosen leading to loose wires, spring actuators are much more reliable, especially if the unit will be exposed to any vibration. The quality is good and if you’re at all competent with a soldering iron this should take maybe 30 min to assemble.
Review: Deceptive/Wrong title. NOT a screw terminal block - Description is wrong. This is not a screw terminal block. And also, who would use a screw terminal shield that you have to solder together yourself? The whole point of a screw terminal shield shield is to AVOID soldering connections. This product has a deceptive title and makes no sense.

Yes, you have to solder it together, that should be obvious if you looked at the pics or read the description. The “special tool” needed to insert/remove the wire is just a small screwdriver. Great product and great seller communication. If you're good at soldering (like I am) then get this one and save yourself the money you'd spend on a pre-assembled one. It's got a good quality PCB and components, comes with a jumper kit, and you get to decide if you want pass-through or standard header pins (both are inlcluded) - all in a reusable box. The stickers were missing with my kit, but the seller was very quick to make it right; it took 2 weeks to get here from Asia, but that is expected. I'm probably going to order another one soon.
