However, this is the second one I purchased and my time with it has been too brief to know about its longevity.About a year ago, I had purchased this same unit (different color) it worked great for a while, and then without warning, I turned it on and it sounded as if the speaker was blown. Sound was distorted every time some bass -- moderately low notes not seriously low, were played on a piece of music. Even voices sounded distorted at moderate volumes. I never play my devices to the point of overload or distortion or at a volume point that would increase the chances of blowing a speaker. So I was surprised that the first unit blew.However, the sound of that first unit, was quite pleasing and the price of the unit was worth taking a chance again. Hopefully, this unit's speaker won't blow mysteriously.
