**Q: Is this flexible like rubber or rigid like plastic?**
A: These buckets a flexible but not flimsy.  THey are made of a rubber similar to tires.  They have a nice, flat, scrubable service.  They are not textured.

**Q: Is the bottom of the bucket flat?**
A: Yes it is

**Q: I'd like to use one to plant vegetables in.  Are there chemicals in the rubber the can leach into the soil?**
A: I wouldn't worry about the chemicals leaching. These pails would be a great planter

**Q: Do these buckets have lead in them?**
A: No lead. It is the best bucket. We used it on our boat and it was far superior to any other bucket.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy durable bucket

I fill my birdbaths once or twice a day in dry weather with no rain, and I used to use a small plastic bucket-i got really sick of the plastic ones breaking all the time! (I don’t use a large bucket because it gets too heavy to lug around) This is the perfect size to clean and refill my two birdbaths. I also notice that if I bump the bucket on my leg or on the deck it does not slosh down on my leg or foot like it did with plastic buckets-it’s more flexible material so it doesn’t splash or spill water like plastic does. Because of the material it doesn’t spill when I set it on the uneven ground, or get knocked over as easily. It did smell strongly when I first opened it (not super unpleasant it reminded me of walking into a mechanic shop or a new tire business. It reminded me of a strong scent of “new car” smell so not entirely unpleasant.) However, that scent dissipated slowly over time, and now is very faint after a couple weeks. I really love my new bucket-very strong and looks like it will last forever! I also will use it occasionally to water a tree/ plant and could use it to clean as well. Really glad I got it and recommend it!
