Purchasers should know that the Fishman battery box has a small circuit board with spring pins that make contact with the 9-volt battery; just drop the battery in the box, close the cover and you are ready to go. This knockoff has no circuit board and no method of connecting a battery. Furthermore, the Fishman uses a low profile 1/4" jack. A standard Switchcraft type jack is too large to fit this application.
