It should fit the width dimension but will be too long. **Q: Is there space to put a sticky sheet to trap varroa mites?** A: Not sure. It's coated in beeswax, so no need for paint. The entrance excluder fits into it's own section (pics 1&2) so it won't get hung up under the box or on the screen. Speaking of the screen, it's high quality, durable metal screen, not chicken wire. The board that slides in is thick plastic, not the stuff they make campaign signs out of, and it has a wooden edge that nestles into the back, which also has a metal edge. The underside has a wooden frame for extra support. It looks great, and I'm looking forward to putting it to use, and it seems like it will last for many years. For under $60, you can't go wrong.
