**Q: Will this work for the berkline kipton swivel glider recliner chair?**
A: I can't say, you need to know the length of the spring and the hooks on the ends. Measure the good one to know for sure the length. The one I bought was the right one.

**Q: I have an American furniture big one recliner that needs the Spring that holds tension to the foot rest to keep it closed will this work**
A: I used the spring on the Handel for the foot rest and it worked on the broyhill recliner which was a big chair. My Handel was on the side of the recliner, so the spring attached to the bar inside the Handel to the foot rest bar. It worked great.

**Q: Where do i get the metal clip thatcholds the spring**
A: Sorry I can not help you much but on our chair the spring hooks directly on the frame on both ends, no clips attached.

**Q: Diagram?  Is there a sketch that shows where the springs go?**
A: Used underneath the seat. There are 2; One for each side.

The spring on our 25-year-old recliner broke. When I turned the chair over, I saw that the spring was broken. Bought this replacement, easy to install, and now the recliner chair works again.

It worked exactly as described and was relatively easy to install. No tools were needed. You just had to lie under the out-stretched leg support and hook the spring in to the proper holes. The springs were delivered when promised and were shipped in a padded plastic envelope/bag.
