Would be hanging the rug up to do it.** A: I suspect not. I have another steam cleaner for carpets and floors and it is definitely “kinder” than this one. Better controls and coverings - whereas this one is designed for walls and is quite crude in comparison. Personally, I wouldn’t try it! **Q: Can this be used to steam bend wood?** A: Hi genuinely no offence meant to the preview responders but I don’t think most/any any of them fully understand the question. I’d say yes it’s perfect but it’s obviously a diy set up which vary in shape and size plus much more, so you may need 2 or more depending on size of enclosure. If you are bending thin lengths of wood then I’m assuming it’s done in a tube not much bigger than the stock wood, in that case one steamer would be fine with the steam coming from the centre of the tube, if you are using lengths of wood above around 1.8m Then possibly you may need two steamers, then I would think the best way would have one either end of the tube. Both ends sealed of course.
