A very unique suction technology drives Slope’s function. It mimics the specialized toe pads common to the Gecko lizard called Nanofoam. Slope has two nanofoam pads affixed to its aluminum base across two flat surfaces, one gripping the backside of the tablet, the other gripping the surface of the table underneath with just-right friction coming and going. I love the streamlined profile of this stand. The finish is top notch, it matches my ipad exactly. What really impresses me is the holding power of the suction grip.
