I bought one for my tank and my daughters tank!works best in front of a light background, like in front of white rock décor. you'll get a rainbow of color......if you put it in front of green plants it lights up mostly green....the reds and yellows don't show up as wellit's a perfect night light! it changes color really softly you barely notice it changing so don't worry about leaving it on all the time, your fish will not feel like they are in a disco! ha ### ⭐⭐⭐ I redid my aquarium to make this fit in perfect and it was for about 4 days *by G***R on February 10, 2015* I ordered this light bar for my 40 gallon aquarium,it took forever to get her for starters.. Well ok I thought maybe it would be worth the wait, WRONG.. I redid my aquarium to make this fit in perfect and it was for about 4 days..It stopped bubbling after 4 days of being in the tank.. The lights still work, but thats just part of why I bought it.. Oh well I will not be buying from this person again.. It created a big problem being that it stopped working at 10pm , I had to scramble to fins a solution to getting air in my tank.. I suppose I just bought an expensive light for my tank..Disappointed to say the least,, Would not recommend anyone buy this product unless you are looking for just a light.. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great ProDeals 12 Led Light *by B***Y on January 3, 2015* My 5 gallon Panaview tank the hood light went out, it didn't last very long. It had a led light strip with 3 color changing lights, got this online at Walmart, so while after ordering the ProDeals 12 Led Energy Saving Led Fish Tank Aquarium Bar Strip, I wrote a letter to Koller- Craft who made the Panaview 5 Gallon Aquarium about the hood lighting. I ask them to send a parts list since I had lost it. I then had gotten a package and I had open the package it was from Koller-Craft they had sent me just the Led Strip Light and how to installed it.. So now I had on order the ProDeals 12 Led Energy Saving Led Light, so I made the choice to keep it, I put it in the Aquarium, I now have top Light and Bottom Light. I turn on the ProDeals Led Light such nice color lights and sometimes I turn on the Top Light to white and also turn on the ProDeals Led Light which makes it brighter.
